The theme of the 2019 ACS Chemists Celebrate Earth Week (CCEW) is “Take Note: The Chemistry of Paper”. More information can be found at the main CCEW Website.

CCEW Illustrated Poem Contest
As part of Chemists Celebrate Earth Week (CCEW), ACS sponsors an illustrated poem contest for K-12 students based on the theme “Take Note: The Chemistry of Paper”
- The contest is for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
- ACS Georgia first-place winners will advance to the national contest.
- ACS will award $300 to four first-place winners and $150 to four second-place winners in different age groups (K-2nd, 3rd-5th, 6th-8th, 9th-12th).
- Deadlines for submission of the entry is on Tuesday, April 30 (contact CCEW coordinator Ajay Mallia).
